Meh. I like the rotors. I would use the Ford PP pads. The power stops can fade under hard braking so I use similar on my truck (and have experienced fade on that vehicle under emergency braking but good daily regular response) but I would not use them on a performance vehicle that had a TT augmented go pedal.

Depends on how you drive. That kit is amazing value for most drivers. I tend to come into corners too fast on twisty roads so I use EBC yellow pads and EBC rotors. They stop hard enough to lock the wheels.

both recommendations above are solid. I wish we had Ford performance pad options with our Edge/MKX vehicles :(

No regrets with EBC. I had powerstops on my mustang and they were great until I drove fast in a mountainous region. The rotors were fine but the pads were destroyed. I ended up trying a few different brands before deciding EBC should take my money.

Is the pad fitment the same for PP and non-PP? Summit has red stuff pads, but doesn't call out whether it is for the PP. I think the difference in the Ford pads is the material they use for PP pads.

Yes fitment is the same, but swept area is slightly different (at least on EBC Redstuff PP vs nonPP for Gen 4).

EBC has really cool pad/rotor kits... Stage 4 Signature Disc Brake Kit. It uses the Red Stuff ceramic pads. I always get the Red Stuff pads, very low dust and rotor friendly.
