Brakes smoking (literally) after quick post tune run...

So I just installed my Stage 3 Livernois tune and took the show out for a little spin..I was out on some back roads doing corners, etc so there was alot of semi hard acceleration and deceleration....When I stopped, I noticed white smoke coming from all 4 brakes. That cant be normal..right? I have never really braked the car hard since I bought it (4750 miles on it). I dont have the performance package on the car, so I am wondering if my next upgrade might have to be some better brake pads...

Big Car + Big Power + Tiny Brakes = lots o' smoke.

It's not right, but it's normal.

Yeah I saw that, those are way out of my price range.

They are not for everyone, but save some cash and they can be for you as well.

Have your dealer see if you are eligible for this TSB. Some people over at the Flex forum complained about smoking brakes and this was the resolution.

The brakes should not smoke unless you are really really beating on them quickly.

It is amazing! A lot of fun and such a big difference! Now I just need to think about my next mod...
