ok heres the whole story first i'm driving along and i feel that somehting isn't right with how the car is accelerating, and it seems to pulse a tiny bit when slowing down

first, when we were driving north on rt 17, i could feel that there was something wrong with my car, it wasn't accelerating like normal and pulsing a little at idle and when i park i inspect the back wheels to find that my drivers side rear tire's brake was sticking and was extremely hot so we went into the store while it cooled off, and i called home both my parents were out, so i decided the only thing i could do was drive it home as is, since it wasn't completely broken, and was driveable
so as i'm merging onto 17, i shift from first to secondand something happened to the clutch or transmission or something, felt like extreme vibration through the clutch pedal combined with a louder sould kinda like grinding but not, and it wouldn't stay in gear and the clutch pedal starting vibrating and jumping like crazy
so i pull off again into a different lot
couldnt see anything under the car or under the hood that was abnormal so i try to drive again it happens again, so i exit and im going down a side road i figured out that if i keep the rpms really low, and shift when it's below 3000 rpms it works fine so i drove it home like that
any ideas?

This is the correct section.

Your rear brake is dragging. Either a frozen caliper, e-brake cable, slider pins, or failed brake line.

Fix that first, then see to the other problem. While they probably are not related, you never know. My guess would be a broken pressure plate strap.

obviously my brake is dragging, i was just including that because it was part of the drive that led up to the real problem.
