What is the cheapest way to upgrade the brakes on my '93 ATX? When I'm doin' 100+ I feel like I have no stopping power and all my rotors and pads are brand new.

The 94/95 set-up would be easier to find in a boneyard. The 96's can be done but harder to find. (you can get the caliper brackets off a '95 conti). With brakes, that's about you only low cost option. After that, to get the goods you gotta spend the $$.

If you got $750 to blow, there is a guy on shotimes selling a used wilwood 12.2" kit. Not a bad deal.

do a search on this forum about the upgrade. cheapest way is around $700 using '94 Sable w/abs spindles, '95 Continental brackets, calipers, rotors and pads. thats what i did on my '93 ATX, better braking than stock! one more note, if you will be using the 12.5" and up rotors, u might have to use a 17" wheel so the caliper will clear the inside of the wheel.
