Brake pedal switch replacing help

The connector for my SHO is up and behind the switch and not easy to get to where the other pic my Fusion is right there in front. I had the advance trac service message pop up and the brake lights would not shut off. That and it wasn’t clicking told me that the switch went bad

update i got it out put a new one in but it was a tight fit not good for fat hands
