Tomorrow we will be testing a series of new brake pads for the 2010

There is 3 versions for the front, and two for the rear.
Front:
Better than Stock
Autocross
Track day

Back:
Better than Stock
Autocross

After I finish this testing, I will go right into Stainless brake hoses..

With some of the stuff going on with the new car, Im now over shooting the brakes after three hot stops.. IMO this will be a priority.

Yes Big brake kits will be available, that will take a bit more time.

The pads will be tested against the 12s brake package. Thats what i have..

Pads, and lines will be done first because they will sell, a 1000.00-1500.00 plus caliper/rotor set wont.

My opinion on the stock brakes is.. For the normal everyday driving these brakes are MORE than enough, even for the off ramp heros they will work pretty good. but for long heated stops they fade fast! but they come back when they cool.

Back in late september when I removed mine for some measurements I noticed that I was melting the pad. this is why I KNOW after many years for racing fat ass Taurui that a simple pad change on this car will be more then most will ever need.

Again this is for 90% of people there will be others that will always need bigger brakes, and there will also be the people that will buy a 3000.00 brembo kit because it looks good.:)

PS, I was not able to get to it yesterday before the sun went down..

Am I correct that the pads/rotors are the the same from the 2005 Five Hundred?

Can the SHO Performance Package brake pads be used on a 2010 SHO without PP?
