I am replacing both rear brake hoses. Passenger side was no prob. Got the the drivers and the wrench started spinning on the brake line. Got out the vice grips and put some penetrating oil on it and still cant get it loose. The vice grips are just rounding it off. Any tips on getting this loose?

Got it. My neighbor had a flat blade vice grips that worked much better. I will just have to replace that brake line at a later date.

Next time, take a Dremel tool and slice a lengthwise groove into the female fitting on the rubber hose. Take care not to go so deep that you cut the male fitting threads. Once the grove is cut, put a screwdriver in it and twist. You will pop the fitting open so the male part unscrews easily. Also, use Lne Wrenches on the male fitting to avoid rounding off.
