I noticed today that they don't work. The turn signals out back work fine tho. Tonight I was on the highway and I had to press teh brake pedal and the brake lights came on and stayed on even after I released the brake pedal. I had to play with the brakes to get the light to come off. I haven't had the lights come on at lower speeds only that one time on the highway. Any ideas? Also when I bought the car there were 2 wires that were going to the brake pedal which looked to be a ground of some work and I accidently ripped them out while driving what are these 2wires for? I have never hooked them back up and haven't noticed anything different after I pulled the wires out. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks Dan

There is a Brake on off switch connected to the brake pedal. You need to check that out. Those wires maybe from that. See if the switch is connected.

i stepped on my brakes real hard one time and broke a little connector on the pedal, witch caused the lights to quit working, i just put on a new one, i would also check the brake on switch, sounds like it might be sticking
