I installed a driver side rear hub, and now when applying the brake, just before it stops; I'm getting feed back in the pedal and a sound from the front. The sound is not a buzz, but close. The pedal punps up like its getting pressure pushing back up on the pedal. Brakes are working, just the feel and the sound. No codes, on anti-lock light
Anyone who can help, Thanks

Is the feedback on the pedal like the pulsing you get with warped rotors?

About the only thing that makes a noise in the front is the ABS motor that drives a little pump that pulses your brakes in an ABS system, but usually you have to have one wheel locking up for that thing to work its magic.

Search the forum and find which fuse disables the ABS temporarily, and see if the noise or the pulsing goes away.

Ya sounds like the abs is acting up. Did you damage the sensor when installing the new hub? Did the new hub have the abs ring on it? If so make sure its not cracked.

I drove it to town and back, about 10 miles, and the ABS light came on. Pulled the new hub off and checked it against the old one, all the same, but the lug studs were a bit longer. Put the out hub back on with a new nut, and ABS went off and the rest went back to normal. No noise and no problems.

Put on a OEM part from the local dealer, US made, and is working just fine. No one here could explain why the aftermarket part would not work. The guys at Ford had no idea.

The tone ring on the aftermarket hub was likely damaged or cracked.
