I bought a 95 ATX with a 103K on it and have a few questions. I only paid 900 for the car. I have never owned an ATX, so this is a new experience. I plan to eventually swap the engine in my MTX. It is in really good condition for a 95 (much better than my 93 MTX) The catch... it was hit on the passenger side fender (pretty much directly on the wheel). The damage looks minimal, but he said the CV shaft moves from side-to-side a little and makes a popping sound when taking left-handed turns. Well I was able to wiggle the CV shaft a fraction of an inch where in links to the transmission. I don't really know what he is taking about. It runs and drives fine. I went outside and compared it to my MTX and the MTX wiggles 2-3 times as much as the ATX passenger side CV shaft. I didn't notice anything leaking from the transmission where the input to the CV shaft goes. The only thing I can think of is it might need a 60 dollar CV shaft? Any ideas from ATX pros? Also it seems to idle at lower RPM's than my MTX (700 ATX vs my 1000RPM MTX). It also makes a slight ticking sound (probably timing gear chains or shim out of spec) Oh, it also looks like it has connections for a 6 disc but I looked in the trunk to find only the RCA cables and some other plug :( I think it also has the hard button Air Conditioning Unit (maybe they made these in 95?)
