Bottom end ticking, got oil pressure

I put in my oil pressure gauge today to try and diagnose my bottom end tick. At first, I was getting 60psi (time to re-read the 85psi post!), although it soon began to drop, until finally, it was showing about 12psi. I assume this is fairly good, a little on the lower side, but probably showing the it isn't a bearing about to go.

Any thoughts on my readings, and perhaps were to look next for the ticking (it is from the bottom, but I have not yet been able to source it to one specific location). Thanks again!

mine reads as low as 12 psi at warm idle (12-15 psi). It runs around 40 psi at warm hiway speeds. If I am in 5th and cruising... around 35 psi. I "believe" your #'s are normal.
BTW, I get around 60 psi until it warms up, too.
