boost limiter?

I dont know if this has been said yet because i dont feel lie kreading this but, acant you just use the wheels sensors and do what a lot of cars have now, traction control. When it senses slip it limits the engine so you wil have maximum acceleration at all times?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think this would work. The shifter is in the same position at 1 3 5 and also at 2 4 R. It's the rotation of the rod in the neutral position that selects the gears in the shift gate inside of the transmission.

Yeah, only the shifter handle moves side to side, the rod shifter just goes forward and back, and rotates.
