I am right around 45,000 miles on my Bondurant/Intrax combo on my '93. I'm noticing signs of them going bad, especially in the back. How many miles have others seen with this combo? Can these be rebuilt at all???

Never even heard of them (I do know of the Bondurant cars though.) Are they a custom valved koni or something?

Mike, use the search feature for Bondurant. That should point you to those that have either the old orange cars or their parts. That way you can try to reach them individually. Not too many members picked up that stuff. IIRC they are revalved Monroes or something. I wonder if, given a good working one, someone could revalve yours. Maybe be able to replicate the specs to make more too. Just a thought. Revalving is probably expensive too.

I have about 10k on my SC car. When I bought them from Mike he said they had about 10k on them already.

They perform just like the Tokico blues.

No problems so far.....so far.

I have a set of 4 that I got from BigChanney (think that's his handle). He told me that the front set already had like 20k on them and they were shipped with a set of police springs already assembled. I also got the very last set of rear ones that he had for sale that I put cargo coils on. I've put about 20k on them and they still act like new struts. Nice and tight. So the fronts have about 40k on them and the rears have about 20k.

If I could get more of them I'd put them on my ATX as well. In fact I talked to Bob about what it would take to get some more and he gave me the guys name at Monroe to talk to about getting some more made and when I posted here to see if anyone would be interested all I got was told they were just a $hitty Monroe strut that weren't anything special about them and was told by many members of this board to more or less F off. Of course the biggest complainers in the thread had never even ridden in a SHO with them on it. :frown:

I think custom valved struts would be great. It's the price that gets most of us. If you had a quote you could shop it around to see if a group buy was doable.
