Hey guys,
I was just wondering if it would be okay to bolt on the SFCs... I worked on removing the SFCs from the old Sable project and although the welds were pretty strong, (I had to cut the welds completely before they would come off) the rear mounting location had nearly no *********** and I was able to twist the SFC off with a bit of effort. I am just wondering if it would be possible to drill through the holes in the front subframe rails into the car and use some heavy grade 8 bolts to hold them. I realize you would have to remove the front seats and the carpet to make sure you were drilling safely, but does this sound like a doable alternative to welding? Thank you guys for any input!
