Has anyone ever taken out, or repaired the bolster air bladder? I just want to make sure before I take mine out. Looks like a PITA, and since it's my driver's side seat, I can't drive the car when it's out.
My bladder has a leak somewhere, as I tested it (it's leaking at the bladder, or the single tube going to the bladder), and I can also hear it leaking. I have 2 choices, I can simply remove the bladder and replace it with a new/different one, or patch repair it. Seems like a PITA to get it out though..
Maybe a second choice would be to use some fix a flat? I'm willing to try anything since I'll end up replaceing the bladder if it doesn't work. Nothing to lose. :)

The tube that runs to the bladder gets sliced by the seat hinge when the back of the seat is moved up and down. Happened on mine, and is a common occurence. If you take the seat out and seperate the top half and bottom half you can just replace the tube....it is somewhat easy to replace. I insulated my new tube with vacuum hose so it wouldn't happen again..

I need to determine if it is the tube, or the bladder. I have a pressure tester, and I know it's either the last piece of tubing, or the bladder. If it's the bladder, and it's not a leak on the edge, I'm sure duct tape would fix it, but I'd still have to take the bladder out. Just curious if anyone ever actually removed one.

those bladders are VERY heavy duty. Before you start digging into the seat to replace them, be certain that it isnt just a hose.
