I'm experiencing bogging over 4k. I can't give the car full throttle otherwise it bogs out. The only time the car doesn't bog is 4K and below. Is my car running too rich?
Sounds like it could be. Try cleaning your MAF (mass airflow sensor). I couldn't give mine more than half throttle without it bogging when I first bought it. I pulled the MAF apart and cleaned the little wires with electrical cleaner and it totally fixed my problem.
As the last enigmatic post suggested, check to see if the secondary butterflies are opening correctly when the car hits 4K RPMS. Performing a search along those lines will probably give you all the info you need.
Mine had the same problem. Drove around with a fuel pressure guage hooked up and sure enough my brand new 190 LPH pump was falling flat on it's face at around 4k rpms.
After checking my codes (214) I replaced the cam sensor but still had bogging issues. I just cleaned out the MAF very gently and the car performs like new. Absolutely no concerns right up to redline. Try it - it's quick easy and should be done anyway.
