I made a call to BMR today to order some lateral arms for my 93 and i asked if i could order them with the 12MM Bushing instead of the 14MM they come with for the W Body. I was told they cannot supply me with the 12MM bushings and that i would need to sorce that for myself.
According to other threads i have read, people have been able to order these in the past with the 12MM bushing. However those thread are pretty dated. My question is has anybody recentally ordered these within in the last month or two with the 12MM bushing or are they only avaliable now with the 14MM or am i just not talking to the right people over at BMR?

If i do order them with the 14MM bushing where is a good sorce for the 12MM replacement required to install them on the SHO?

Well you could use the SHONut reducer kit for them.

Unless you are dead set on them we do offer a cheaper alternative that is ready to bolt up and strong too: SHOBros COntrol Arms

Yeah, if you can't get BMR to make them with the reduced sleeve, just get the reducing sleeve kit from SHOnut or look at SHObros Ingalls arms.

Both of my sets of BMR arms have the SHOnut sleeves in them (that was before somebody smarter than me got BMR to make them already reduced).

Subject: Part #TCA012 Adjustable Lateral Arms - forward mount Installation and ordering?

HI
To whom it may concern

I am interested in purchasing some forward mount lateral arms to install on my 93 Taurus SHO. I was told I needed to order 2 sets of the #TCA012 Adjustable Lateral Arms – forward mount for the W- body. According to what I have read and been told you guys sell these bars with 14mm I.D. bushings installed and my SHO requires 12mm I.D. bushings. I was told that I could order the 12mm bushing from you guys in order to push out the 14mm and push in a required 12MM. I realize the information I have been given may be incorrect or old. So I am asking can I still order these bars and the 12mm bushing to replace the 14mm I require for my SHO installation. Any information you can provide would be of great help.

Thanks
Steven Heinemann

Or..... Wait for it.....

You could buy our ORIGINAL ALUMINUM CONTROL ARM KIT for $399. It's in stock and ready to ship.

Comes with all the necessary hardware and even maintains the factory height sensing proportioning valve.

Buy the original, buy the best.

Not sure if anyone saw these but SHO Bros has a nice, cost effective alternative to the stock lateral arms (I'm still not sure why people call them control arms :nut: ).

$259.99 gets you a set of 4. I've seen them and while they're not as beefy (or as pretty) as the BMR parts they are significantly better than the GTP parts and cheaper. It's ashame we can't retrofit them back to the GTPs.

I got the bushings from bmr , however I called and talked to some one there

when I got the bmr arms the 14 mm were installed in the arms the 12 mm bushings were packaged in a bag ,you have to remove the 14 mm and install the 12mm

Jeff

I will try to look up my invoice numer so they can see what they did on my order , I did order them in june of 2005
