Blue Smoke

A co-corker said he saw a little blue smoke coming from my exhaust the other day. Is this the rings? If so what are my options as far as fixing or???????? :frown:

Yes, it could be your rings. It may not be enough smoke to worry about yet though. For instance if it happens only when you first start your car, its not nearly as bad as if it happens all the time. Also, obviously, more smoke is worse.
You need to have someone start the car cold while you watch the exhaust for smoke. Have them rev it a bit to. You should also drive it and get it all warmed up, then watch the exhaust for blue smoke when they rev the engine.

Dont worry about it unless you like digging into 24 valve heads.
Just keep an eye out for oil consumption.
