They give it the HID look :D
My sho came with them.
I had one blow.
The only identification at the base of the bulb says "HILITE 9004"
Where can I get a replacement?

btw, they truly give it the "Lexus" look (looking directly at the headlamp at night) However, from the inside, (with the lights shining on the road) I can't say that I see much difference...

Most of those "HID" style bulbs you actually loose visibilty, from them being blue. But if you don't care about being able to see the road and just want them to look cool....there are tons of them bulbs on ebay. I would say if you want something like that, get a wiring harness that supports the 80/100 bulbs(so you don't burn out the wiring) and pick up some eurolite bulbs.

Werd. Get one of those carsound harnesses and then some Silverstars, and you'll have more light than the strip at Vegas.

Well, maybe not that much, but.....

I have been running my 80/100s for about a year now and have had no issues with the harness...

The first set I had I bought off of ebay... they sucked. I still have them if anyone wants them! ;) I got the second set at PepBoys and I like them a lot. They came in a plastic case of two. Not sure of the name

Get rid of them and get some silverstars :D
I third that! Made a world of difference on my old red 92. Just bought some last night for the green 92 since a headlight burned out. Can't wait to get them in (tonight), should look great with my PIAA foglights. Pictures will be posted!

The GEN 3s need the 100w harness. Put that on an be prepared for a new world when driving at night. (assuming the bulbs are aligned correctly)

Sylvania Silverstars is the answer you will get by EVERYONE. Walmart has them as an earlier poster stated.
Paul, you must be right about the wiring harness. Guess I'll add that to my "list".

This has been discussed before, but I can't remember the EXACT procedure. IIRC, McGuires and fine sandpaper
You might want to do a search. Some people have had good results.

im another silverstar believer :) they work great, i could physiclly see a pretty big difference between them and the sylvanias one step lower, the 20 bucks for a pack ones when i put the first one in and then shined one new and one old against the garage.

Meguires #1 paint cleaner (or #2 polish) and a soft cloth. It worked great for all my cars.

i always hear u guys talking bout this meguires cleaner polish etc. where can i pick up some, any automotive store? thanks

Almost all automotive centers should have Meguires. It comes in a maroon bottle with a flip up spout on top. Meguires is written in a gold italics style and it has a picture of a car hood or deck on the front (all from memory, so I'm not responsible for any errors). :thumb:
