There seems to be a few of us unlucky enough to have a blown head gasket. I went the easy route on my 92 using Blue Devil head gasket repair, it claims to be a permanent fix and seemed to cure the problem. I had oil in my coolant but not in oil pan thank god.Well I figured I would post and keep everyone updated on how long it lasts and if indeed it is a permanent fix. May the force be with me :laugh_ti:

Did you ever look to see if you had coolant in any of your cylinders?

I found coolant in cylinders 2 and 3.. It showed all the signs of blown head gasket. oil in coolant, sweet smelling exhaust along with very smoky exhaust and a lot water coming from exhaust. I know head gaskets are not that hard to do just figured I would give it a try till spring. I dont have a garage to keep warm

I used Blue Devil in 2) Ford Ranger 2.9's.
At first I thought it worked.
After a day or two I could tell it did not.
I have 1/2 bottle of the stuff left.
It's yours if anyone wants it.
