block heater placement

With the changing of the bearings looming I was wondering if it made a difference were I put the block heater? It looks like on the back of the block, closest to the firewall, in the middle looks like the easiest place to mount it. I thought I'd make sure before I replaced anything.

That's where my factory block heater is so I say go for it! I'm sure alot of people are wondering, where did you get yours? The SHO block heater is supposedly discontinued.
