Okay, I posted earlier about a noise behind my dash. A couple of people responded saying it is probably the BDA. I ran the diagnosis test and came up with "02." So there is definitely something wrong with the BDA I guess. My question is, if the temp control unit is off, why is my blend door still making clicking noises? Does the blend door try to default to a certain position when the unit is off? If this is the case it seems like there might be something jammed in the door itself and my BDA may be fine and just trying to move to its default position if I am thinking about this correctly. This car sat for a couple years so it may be possible that a mouse built a nest somewhere up there. I guess the dash has to come off either way, I just wanted to get some opinions on why the BDA is running constantly. Thanks.

i had to replace mine earlier this year. mine never clicked when the unit was turned off and displayed off on the screen. im not sure why it would be clicking at all, but i do have first hand knowledge that BDA are rather cheap setups and break the little plastic gears inside the box very easily. i have had to replace them on both the shos i have owned. crappy job but can be done in one day pretty easily with enough patients and enough beer.
