My heat is either on all hot or all cold. If I have it anywhere off of 60 I can't tell a single bit of difference in heat output. If I move it to 60 then it blows cold. I can hear my blend door opening and closing once in a while by itself as well. Does that sound like a blend door or a EATC issue?

Well, here's to hoping that it is the EATC. New gen 1 blend doors don't exist.

I had the same exact problem.
went to the junk yard and pulled one off a 94 (mine is a 92) installed it and presto no failure to the heat or the cold air.
All works fine.
Yes they are a pita.

I have ran into blend door issues and i found it to be a cracked blend door. I second that theyre hard to find. Check into Lincoln Continentals, the early 90s had the same blend doors.

Given what a pain it is to pull the dash, I'd change all three - A/C Evaporator, Blend Door Actuator, and Heater core [if you can afford to do all three at the same time !]

and they are a PITA. I swapped a perfectly good one out this year because I had to do the heater core...
