Black Interior?

Was wondering if any Gen III or IV came with black leather seats. I saw some on ebay a week or so ago but I didnt think any Taurus's came with that. Maybe from a contour svt in the dark blue???

I dunno about everyone else but I think a black interior was deeply missed in the Gen III SHO's

Black would be sharp, but with the 90 degree + temps we've been having I'll take my gray cloth hands down!

Yea I noticed your cloth interior. At times I don't like the leather, extreme heat or cold. But I get compliments on it...

Temps? Today hit a 100 I believe, and by Wednesday the temps are supposed to be around 105 and heat index up to 109. Freaking unbelievable.

That's where window tint comes in and helps out. The back two now have two layers of tint on them and are darker than before.

i had a couple girls who didn't want to ride in my car cuz it was just a taurus and they had a 98 sable......and since we know their sable with cloth seats and basic sound system is soooooooooo much nicer than a SHO......they decided to take their car.....until they sat down inside the SHO and listened to the stereo cranked up

Yeah, we have been havign 90+ temps here in Wisconsin, and my Black leather interior on my '93 burns the back of my legs . My A/C does not work..

That seat does look like a Taurus seat from the IV Gen.

I beleive they did. I detailed a late 90's Sable, I think it was a 98 or 99 with Balck leather interior..

i wish my car had black leather interior. It seems like ford would of kept that option for the sho's

at one point I considered dying mine black , but after I heard from others who tried it it only lasted a few months thats all I needed to hear = not worth the trouble

SHO#7 had a killer set for sale a couple weeks ago from an earlier Gen, immaculate in fact, but they were for pick up only in Cincinnati so it was not feasable for me else I likely would have jumped right on it. he said the fronts were a direct fit but he wasn't sure about the rears. that would be the next question for a Gen IV set ofcourse, if they bolt right on I am all about it, P let me know what you find out
