jelloslug said:Nice wiring mess. You do know that on 2nd gens the dash wiring just unplugs from the car. That would make reattaching the harness to the dash a bit easier.
SHO Continental said:On the '92 we pulled the dash from it didn't unplug. Trust me I checked.![]()
jelloslug said:Yea but that was an MTX. When I pulled the dash from my '93 ATX parts car I just unplugged the main harness under the hood and it popped right through the fire wall.
. Also the clocks had different wiring but since they don't interchange between the dash bezels I just left it unplugged.
sho_bc said:i assume the tan parts stayed cause of air bags??![]()
SHO Continental said:Had to reuse the mocha passenger airbag because the plugs were different; and I still have a mocha drivers bag too because '92s have older style wheels but I'd already changed to a newer black leather wheel
ah yes, well... i did stop wearing my glasses a few years ago.SHO Continental said:it was in that last post..

on your interior my friendDan Werling said:Hey that thing looks killer. I have lots of black parts lined up to do my black interior swap, but not everything yet. What is this buisness about unplugging the whole harness at once for the dash? Like a main harness connector. If I could avoid having to remove the harness when I swap my dash, that would be freaking amaizing! Could someone provide some information about that please?

That being said, it's not a "hard" job per se, just very time consuming. Also VERY helpful to have a second person. The dash can be difficult to hold up and try to bolt down at the same time![]()

SHO Continental said:This wasn't my first time doing dash.. although I did have a second person.. but I also pulled an engine and trans today![]()
