went ahead and stripped out the interior of the donor car.. minus the door panels and dash.

then stripped out my '93 for the swap.

Still have to put on the visors, grab handles, and the A/C pillar trim. Also the dash and door panels of course. But I'll save that for tomorrow when the sun comes up again. :biggrin:

Nice, I love black leather interiors in the gen 2's!! Are you going to stain the dash? Or are you going to go through the heII of ripping it out? Also I think I want the door cladding off that passenger front door....ill send you a PM :thumb:

i would have just put the motor from the green car to the silver car.....
that would be easier than swaping dashes!!!!!!

the bodywork would have been a killer though .. silver one isn't doing so well :rofl:

dash isnt too hard, you could take the old one out, replace w/ donor in around an hour. dont see why ppl always complain about it being so hard.

Nice wiring mess :p . You do know that on 2nd gens the dash wiring just unplugs from the car. That would make reattaching the harness to the dash a bit easier.

That really looks sharp. I'd love to do a black interior transplant. The donor's a '92, isn't it?
