black basketweavs??

cant remember what website it was, but it clamed that some 89's had black wheels, is this true? does anyone have pics of black basketweavs?(factory or painted) any pics would be appreciated

That's one of the worst ones that I had, it was a parts car, the one that I have now is in alot better shape, and less than half the km's as well

Black Knight

They came from the factory on 90's. If you search enough there was an add showing a black 90 with the black weaves and silver lip. I have a set of them off my old 89, but I think 1 of two things happened. They were either painted at the dealer (who also installed a rear wing on my old black 89) Or they ordered them in late 89? I've never heard of an 89 coming from the factory with them.

This is a 90 that I had completely stripped and repainted (not very well though) Rims are stock.

When I got rid of the 90, I put the rims on the 91. I think they go good with just about any color.

Might I suggest POR-15, and a spray on polyurethane? That should last you about forever, and be not too expensive.

Won't be the west coast for much longer.

Plus, rust gives the car character.

That, and it helps to lighten the car, and so make it faster

How do you paint those wheels? I have basketweavs on mine and its red. Not cool
