BIG PROBLEMS

okay heres how it goes I'm driving down the street in my SHO everythings going great its running good, I pull up to a stop light and I'm just sittin there waiting for it to turn green all of a sudden my car starts idiling rough bouncing from 800rpms to 500rpms so I hit the gas and nothing happens rpms still bouncing finially pumping the gas petal I get it above 2000 rpms and it runs fine til I get it below 2000 and if I do when I hit the gas it backfires and cuts out until I get it over 2000 again. Anyone have any idea whats going on I could really use the help.

sounds like it could be an IAB problem to me. did you get a code with it? if you can find an extra one try switching it and see if that does it. let us know how it goes.

There is a pretty good chance your fuel pump is shot. That was the case with my car. You should notice in increase in performance when you replace it....at least I did.

If his car gets more of an increase it will be running 10's...
