well the noise started yesterday when i was going in to a parking lot. it sounds like my frame in two pices.i can only hear the noise when i hit a good size bump.the only problem is the city i live in is full of them.the noise is a sharp loud clank so far it seems its coming from the rear of the car...go figure i just bought a two family house and I'm the process of remodeling out both floors...

Well, any help or ideas would be great. Thanks D.

Take a look at the sway bar, its mounting brackets and end links. Could it be the exhaust system hitting under the car? Noises are really hard to troubleshoot over the internet.

You might check behind the back seat where the amps are located too. I've had some screws come out that hold the amps on and the brackets together causing them to slap against each other when I hit a bump.

also, if it is close to a clunking noise, the rear struts and mounting bushings for them might need a replacement

Definately take a look at the end links. I had the same thing happen about a year ago. It happened after turning into a very steep driveway where I worked, and the car hit the pavement really hard in back. Sounded much worse than it was, since the links were like $15 bucks if I remember correctly, and were easy to take off (other than being rusted tight).
