Had my SHO in yesterday for a few BG treatments and WOW what a difference.

The BG engine purge is used to flush the engine of all contaminants. 1/4-1/2 quart is poured into the oil and the car is run for about 10 minutes. Then it's drained with the oil, change the filter, refill with 5qts of dino and run for 10 minutes and drained again. This process is repeated 3 or 4 times (minus the Engine Purge) until there are no traces of the cleanser left. Then I filled with Mobil 1 and a K&N Oil filter for the final fill.

1 can of BG-MOA was added to the final fill. It prevents oxidation and thickening of engine oil under severe driving conditions.

Then I put a can of BG 44 power enhancer in the gas tank to clean the valves and injectors.

This thing drives better than it has ever driven in my ownership. I'll never use seafoam again.

BG products FTW :thumb:

you do relise when you put cleaner threw your oil your causing more problems then its worth...

almost all cleaners you put in the oil contain kero.. i dont know about you but with a car thats known to have rod bearing failures i dont think putting kero inside the oiling system is the thing im gonna do ... EVER

anything but oil going into the engine is bad and in my mind stupid..

ive never understood why people are so concerned about cleaning random surfaces inside their engine

sure theres some burnt on oil stuck to the block wall ... and some stuck to the heads of the head bolts, and some on the cast surface of the rods ... so what ?

the only place i can see mattering is in teh oil pan, unless of course your engine was heavily abused and now theres an inch of oil cake on everything ... but in that case your better off pulling the valve covers and rinsing w/ kero

It was something I did once and with an engine that's got 150k on it what could be the harm. I haven't had my car since new and ridding my engine of all those deposits was no doubt beneficial.
