Considering NOS for the 97, what's the best way to raise line pressure for the tranmission so it could handle a 75-100 shot? It is currently out of the car so now is the time to do it. A Trans-GO shift modifier and a B&M trans cooler are going in already.

Would the FPS chip do the same thing and be easier than doing it through the transmission? That way if I didn't like it I could just pull the chip and get it changed I guess...

I just don't want to burn up a new trans... :bonk:

Where's Kirk when I need him?!

IMO, a properly-programmed chip is the only (proper) way to go for raising line pressure.

As for your tranny rebuild, I'd leave the line-pressure-increasing valve body mods from the TransGo out of the loop and let the EEC handle all of your line pressure modifications needs via a chip. It's much easier to start soft and work firmer (via a chip) than it is the other way around. ;)
