Ive got a 95 MTX, and I was just wondering what the best way to do the plugs and wires are? I have Motocraft plugs, and Taylor Wires, I want to run the wires through the stock paths.

Thanks

Pull the intake... ~12 bolts and various hoses, but it'll make your life way easier. I'd go OEM wires too personally. Clean the intake while it's off. Heck, why not valve lash and new upper gaskets as long as you're this far. SHO stuff always snowballs. :salute:

Best way to do it is to remove the intake, replace the plugs and wires and put the intake back on. I would ensure that your plug wells are not leaking as this would be an opportune time to replace them - while the intake is pulled. It takes probably an extra hour to replace the VC gaskets - and ensures a long quality life for your plugs and wires. If you have oil in your plug wells don't let it drain into the cylinder - dry it all out and clean it out before removing the plugs.

Here is a step by step if you need:

it is posible to change the plugs and wires with out taking the intake off ,you have to remove the intake suport mounts closest to your throttle body ,vacum port with the 3/8 hose ,and the secondarys vacum canister and senser bracket.and the rest should be easy to figure out from there.it usually only takes 30-40min that way

Definitely take off the intake. After you've done it once it takes no time at all and it is easy (just don't drop anything into the open ports). Like they said, its a good time to do gaskets too if you care.
