Best Strut/Spring Package?

Has anyone rate tested the cut versions of the basic spring brands, moog, eibach, ect... including oem? I went to coilovers on one sho and you can pick the rate but not without conversion hassles/expenses.

Swapping coilover springs isn't that big of a deal. How else would you change the spring rates?

I can get a (my choice) coilovers for $60 now. That car...I talking about what gives with cutting the different brand springs and how much they make a dfference. I can cut 100000mi stock springs now if I want, but what will be the end result if I did this. I don't even want to know. After all they have aready sagged. The old stock springs in my opinion are all shot and would never consider using them again. I am curious about the other brands cut for lowering porposes.

i need to compare two diifferent set ups. both use sensa tracs but which springs and whats the pros and cons to each setup. intrax or cut moogs? looking for 1 3/4 in front 1/2 in back

You have been answered a few times and now you are changing your question.

The Moogs will probably raise the rear as you are sagging. You can only get a round a 1/2" drop with cutting. With Intrax you get stiffer springs and 1.5" drop.

You could just search the answers are there.

By compatible - yes, you can install monroes on intrax springs.

The monroes will probably die shorty, but they have a lifetime warranty...so you can just keep exchanging them (that's what Continental sho does, IIRC).

Those were responses to monroe + intrax. ****, have you looked on shosource.com? The website will tell you it's not recommended, but they are "compatible" and will work if that's what you want to do.
