typically, youll be directed towards the 32PP replacement (32FM ?). IMHO, the type of plug you use depends on what the engine likes. even though these are all the "same" engines, no 2 will like the same plugs in co-ordinance with each other. briefly said, Your Mileage May Vary.

i ran the 32PPs only to have them detonate and burn up only after 8K miles. im currently running Bosch Super plugs, 7557. this plug is 2 ranges hotter than stock replacement, and it show on my temp gauge, but the engine has ran very well since i installed them, leading me to believe that the engine likes them. just a few days ago, i purchased Bosch Super 7556, 1 range hotter than stock, and plan to change them out in a few days.

I had FMs... I wanted a change. I got autolite double platnums. I didn't really notice a difference except the autolites were cheaper.

depends on what your doing. i ran naws... untuned. with ported intake/BBB so my plugs blew up around 1 1/2 bottles.

i used champion coppers. alright, BUT autolite coppers lasted the longest. and they are only $.99 per. those things never exploded like the champions either. champions blew the **** up. autolites just melted. if i were you id go with the autolites.

you could be a balla, in which case id get the ngk platinum... but not it you planned on some sort of FI/N20

I just replaced my plugs and wires.I went with the motor craft platinum plugs,$2.99 apiece. But from what I`ve read that is what is the best for the application.I also went with the autolite plug wires, same as the motorcraft but $50.00 cheaper. I put autolite platinums in at 80k and on the firewall side of the car the boots would not stay on. I latter discovered on the SHOTIMES site that they were a 1/16 of an 1'' too short.

Well my car has 146k, and I'm doing its apparently first 60k, top and front, if that helps any. I figured Motorcraft would be best, but I oughta ask, see if anyone had any discoveries with some new plugs or something :nut:

I run autolite platinums in everything. Cheap and great. I had Bosch platinums in my mustang when I bought it. It used to cut out when I stood on the gas. The car only had 85K on on it. The gap was good. I changed the plugs with autolite platinums and the car was like new again.

I did notice a difference running the autolites vs. the motorcraft. With the motorcraft plugs my car was a lot lighter since the extra cash I spent on them wasn't weighing me down. :thumb:

In all honesty though, if you are going to do a job, do it right. And what I have learned from this forum is that unless you are running N2O, the motorcraft plugs are the way to go.

Eh, one day one day I'm gonna turbo charge it, but when that day comes I can change them out for something better for that appication. But I guess motorcraft is the way to go then, thanks
