Best SFC Installation???

Well guys,
I am finally getting the subframe connectors on Friday and i plan to get them installed the same day. But i was wondering what the best way for the shop to install them.
Should they have the SHO on the lift with the tires hanging (to provide some flex) or with the tires supporting the cars weight? The shop (Tri Power Automotive in Libertyville, Illinois) said that it doesn't matter if there is flex or not b/c the car isn't a 700 hp race car. I would like some feedback on this please.

I'm getting mine done with the wheels hanging and the chassis flexed. IMO believe it would stiffen up the chassis better.As far there being a difference between flexed or not, it would make a difference. Maybe not for 1/4 mile times, but chassis rigidity and handeling.

I had mine installed on a flat (drive-on) lift. I didn't want to "tweak" my chassis, & weld it in placed pre-flexed. I love the results.

I really don't want to get into a ******* contest over which is better. There are 2 schools of thought on this - "tweaking" or pre-loading the chassis, and stiffening the chassis in its natural, flat state.

I'm enrolled in Flat U.

home
i had mine done on a flat lift also and it handles great. no creaks at all. if you preload the chassis doing it the other way wont that mess with your camber and toe angles etc. and put everything out of alignment.

Hmmm....Maybe i should get it done on the flat lift. Did you guys notice big differences after having them installed on the flat lift? I heard that the preloading was better from previous posts. 9lbSHO, where did you hear that it could be bad for the SHO? I am having them installed today, so any help before i get them done would be great!

Ask dudes like, Drivinhard, Sdpatt or 1fastSHO. These guys are the true SHO gurus. And have some amount of engineering experience. I personally value their opinion much and would ask them myself first if I had a question.

I don't think you can really go wrong wich ever way you choose. People have had theirs done both ways and everybody says they love them.
