Where is the best place to find two 225/55/16 tires for my 91 SHO? I already have two that are in great condition, BFG Comp T/A VR4's

I'm not looking for anything SUPER expensive, I want a nice combo of performance and longevity

thanks

The BFG Comp T/A VR4s posess neither good dry weather traction nor wet weather traction nor tread life nor construction quality. I was very happy to replace them after 3 were replaced for excessive runout and the performance scraped the bottom of the ten different sets of tires I have had on my SHO.

With tires, you pretty much get what you pay for. Too cheap and they will be cheap. Expensive will get you superior performance in at least one category. I require superior dry traction with good wet traction and decent tread life. The 225/55ZR16 Bridgestone RE730s I am currently running possess excellent dry traction, outstanding wet traction and have shown good tread wear fitting of their 300 treadware rating.
