Where can I get a stock or slightly better than stock radiator? I have seen SHOshop and SP motorsports and their prices aren't too bad. I did a search and found radiatorbarn.com and they want $107.20 w/ free shipping. Anybody know of a good radiator for a good price?

That $107 is close to the best price you'll probably find online or elsewhere. When I did mine this spring, I got a Modine for about that price and have been very happy with it. A couple of members have complained about the Modines, but I suspect their problems are due to installation more than quality. I put a Modine in my little sisters '90 SLO in '97 and 50K+ miles later it's still fine. Plus, the Modine's do have a lifetime warranty.

I need a new radiator also. I checked out that radiatorbarn. It looks like it is only a ONE row radiator. I was told that SHO's have a 2 row?

Anyone know?

Seems like the best deal even discountradiators.com has it listed for $109 plus S&H.

Here is the core size I got from there site:

FO 24 X 15 X 1 1/8

On a semi-offtopic note, which brand dual-fan will fit the SHO w/o much altering for easy installation?

The stock SHO radiator is a one-row, aluminum radiator with plastic tanks. Unless you live in the desert or race the car at high speeds for long periods of time, the stock radiator has more than sufficient cooling capacity.

Many people have had custom 2-row radiators installed, or fitted the police package radiator (which is also 2-row) to the SHO.

I paid $127 and some change for a Go-Dan replacement radiator w/ a limited lifetime warranty @ Advance Auto Parts. Works great.

radiator.com is extremely good. they run some auctions on e bay. i think i paid like 70 for mine. and the best thing is they have the fastest shipping. the day i paid for it, they told me due to unfortunate circumstances it couldn't be there that day, but it would be dropped off by 8 am the next morning. i told the lady don't worry about because i was still impressed with them saying it would be here tomorrow.

I just have been checking into a radiator for a '93 MTX and found the best price for $100.95 at ford-auto-body-parts.com .
My previous buy was a Modine from NAPA for $160 which lasted for just 2 years, so this time I just put in the cheapest I can find.

Why not just exercise the lifetime warranty on the Modine and get the replacement for FREE rather than spending $100 more???

I got a double core(2 row) heavy duty radiator from autozone with a warranty on it. It was about $180. I think Advanced auto parts has the same radiator for about the same price. The installation was the worst part since not all the bolts completely lined up. Enough did though to make it work. It was a tight fit though. Plus you have to lose your reserve collant tank. I am trying to find a replacement one thats smaller. If anyone knows of one please let me know.
