Always hear about the DupliColor available at most autostores. You need some clear coat, too.

For mine i did the duplicolor, takes about 2 cans of the color for 4 wheels and then they also make their own wheel clear coat and i used one can of that. Make sure you clean them really well and lightly sand the wheel to give it something to stick to. I never had a problem with flaking or anything. Its good stuff. :thumb:

woah, hold on. You arent painting those white slicers gunmetal are you? :oogle: I have been wanting to get a set of white slicers for my SHO. If you are painting wheels, would you consider trading your white slicers for my mint condition silver ones?

Paint? You guys use paint?

I just let my PFC pads take care of that. After a week or so (or a few track sessions), my wheels could pass for gunmetal! :thumb:

I painted my old slicers with paint from Autozone, a bunch of coats then clear. Very easy... I should be doing my other wheels soon :salute:

how about powder coating? also when you need new tires...you might have to redo the paint on the edges...the older tire machines take off paint!

Powder coating cost waayy more than painting it yourself. Last time I heard from one, it was like $40 a wheel!
