I spray mine on top between the condenser and IC. I also have my aero tray on the bottom. I can spray mine and not a drop hits the ground even sitting in park. Are you sure it wasn't your AC condensation puddle vs your DIY sprayer?

External sprayers won't pass tech at my track. They don't want knuckle heads drooling water down the track. Me neither.

I get that, but it is incredibly hard to actually see my sprayer because it is hiding under the plastic. I get it though.
