Time to replace my SHO's front struts and springs. Everytime it hits a bump or expansion joint, like on a bridge the front bounces up and down three times. I would have went with an Eibach/Tockico setup but the streets up here in Montreal are pathetic. They are full of patches and potholes that bust suspension parts and shudder the frame. So I'm looking for something near stock that can cope with these "roads".

So far I've found Moog springs at $82 (cdn), Monroe Matic Plus struts for $65 or Sensetracs stuts at $75. Anyone have these brands installed or are running stock/near stock setups at low cost?

The Eibach Tokico setup wouldn't be to bad up there, now if you had SS linears or Intrax, I could see this being a problem. The Eibach/tokico combo does not lower the car all that much, granted it evens out the front wheel gap, and also rides a bit better. Yes it will lower the car a bit, but no more than 1/2"

I would not reccomend the sensatracs or the KYB's. The KYB's would be alot worse on those types of roads, I had them in my old SHO with Intrax springs and after about 8 months I had the "pogo effect"

I do however have a brand new set of Motorscraft struts if you were interested..

Yes, get the Eibach/Tokico; Eibach tech support recommended Tokico for my 93 SHO. Since the Eibachs are progressive, they are very smooth and then firm up when pushed, an dthe Tokicos are very smooth while they control the suspension movement very well. In Seattle and in Spokane, we have some dandy potholes, and this set up really did help. I also made sure to get 215-60 series tires , Yokohama AVSdb, for a good ride and insulation from pothole s, etc.
