I thought somebody was selling them and you just sent in your core. I don't have the luxury of taking them off, taking them to a machine shop, waiting on them to get done. It's the only car I have down here. Thanks for the input though.

Hit up a JY in your area. You can probably get a set of cores for less than $50. Take THEM to the machine shop and have them bored.

No Gen III's in any junkyard around me. Good idea though if I could find them.

IIRC ford had a set of BBB for the gen3 but took them off because it made to much power and the tranny couldn't take it. I believe it dropped something like 30hp BBB will help a lot if im not mistaken.

I believe you are talking about an entirely different intake setup they had on this car, there is a pic floating around somewhere. I don't think anybody is gaining an extra 30HP out of BBB's. Would be nice though...

I doubt if that special intake developed much power anyway. IIRC it did not have long runners for the interior cylinders.

True secondaries don't increase HP but offers more low end HP without losing any up high.

short runners are for tq, long are for hp, having both and tuning the secondaries to open at the correct time = best power curve

But in the end the motor does not make anymore TQ or HP it just moves the rpm that they occur around.

I have been meaning to take the butterflies out but haven't gotten the cams welded on the other engine I have in the car now. I'm glad I have another set though so there is no down time for the butterflies.

Get those cams welded. 1 out of 4 failures never get a warning. They just stop working all of the sudden.

Why would you even THINK about piddling with performance upgrades on an unwelded engine? Use that money WISELY.

The LIM ports are matched to the heads, so if you want increased flow you need to increase the diameter of both.

A cam weld won't be expensive for me. My last weld was $30. I did everything but the actual welding of the cams.
