A cam weld won't be expensive for me. My last weld was $30. I did everything but the actual welding of the cams.

Were you in the library today and I walked past and probably was sure it was you so kept walking, because I'm cool like that? Around 9am?

Easier to just take the butter flies out and get a tune.

If I did remove the butterflies and get this tune you speak of, will there be noticeable gains. Won't I lose that wonderful sounds of them opening up? Will it hurt my MPG?

Your MPG is 100% dictated by your right foot.:woohoo:

And that wonderful sound is Ford's way of bamboosoling you into thinking the secondaries actually do something.

Gotcha. Those tricky SOB's... Will I need a tune if I wired them open? Did you get my PM?

A tune will allow you to take advantage of the wired open 'flies. But it is not necessary.

The LIM ports are matched to the heads, so if you want increased flow you need to increase the diameter of both.

+1

BBB's, UNLESS attached to a whole bunch of OTHER porting upgrades, CAN'T do anything, due to other various flow restrictions throughout the intake.

Any one who thinks BBBs will help help the V8 motor is not aware of the programming Ford uses on the V8 below 3400 rpm.
