Battery promblem?

I just put a new batt. in my car last week, and today I open the hood, and I see all this green nasty acid type stuff all around the positive terminal? Whats up with that???

Thats just corosion you should clean up the battery terminal and then the conector with a good wire brush and then coat it all dielectric grease.

It is normal on occasion.... but a fresh battery shouldnt do it (from my experiences)

I have found that a battery that is getting OVER charged will bubble over.
