ok, i assume this problem would be a alt. problem, the other day im driving, have the cruise control on, then out of nowhere, the cruise just shuts off and wont turn back on, then my speakers go out on the radio, then i see my clock starting to dim, then my EATC unit starts going nuts like im pulling the battery cable off and on, then i realize it is going in sync opposite of my directional, off and on, off and on. so i bought a brand new battery put it in and drove fine for a bout a hour then it starting doing it again then it just died, now is the alternator?, is it not charging the battery? and is that why my car is dying? please help, i am at work and about 40 mins. from my house i need to fix this today thanks guys

No it will not. The mounting bolt pattern is different. It is definitely the alternator though. Just to throw it out there...did you check the serpentine belt?
