Battery light flickers on and off

a week ago my battery light started flickering at me, not really on all the way going from dim to brite, the went off all togrether. since then my car has ben doing it intermitently. no noticable power loss radio/windows/ac/lights work fine

Your alt is most likely starting to kick the bucket. You should see if you can find some place to test it for you before it leaves you stranded somewhere. IF you have a Volt meter you can also check to see if you are getting 13.5-14.5 volts when the engine is running.

Make sure your battery terminals are clean and are making good contact. Check the other connections of the battery cables especially the main ground. As ISHODU says, test the alternator. rangerj
