Just replaced my battery with a new one, alternator is charging properly. (~14 v)

Leave my car for a day or 2 and it wont start, battery is damn near completely dead. So I hooked up my meter to the battery post and the car draws ~150mA with the car off / everything off. Is this too high?

I found out if I remove the keyless module from the radio circuit it drops to about ~50 - 60 mA.

Does anyone know the allowable current draw when the car is off?

150mA is on the high side, but not necessarily bad. If you come back and check 30 minutes after the car is off, it should be less. You can start pulling fuses one by one to narrow down where the draw comes from, too.

I ended up pulling each fuse until the load dropped off. my keyless module is drawing 70mA on its own, and with my digital dash memory, clock, and head unit constant power is another 70mA. After much research, the ford service manual has an article on parasitic draw, and it claims the draw for the SHO should be no more than 50mA total.

So, my keyless module is apparently no good then I'm guessing...
