In the last two weeks the battery has gone dead twice without any clear cause. As I was recharging it, the engine fan came on, and the CCRM began to click. I disconnected the fan and charged the battery. It was ok for a week, but was dead again. I charged the battery and left the fan disconnected. The battery was dead Again! with the fan disconnected. The relays click without the ignition in the run or start position. It looks like there is a start or run signal always on, or the AC thinks it should be running. Which is funny, since the freon has leaked away. Does anyone have an idea on trouble shooting this?

Are you re-charging your battery while the terminals are still connected to the car? I wouldn't do that. You should disconnect the terminals if you are charging the battery.

Sounds like you have a CCRM problem.

I would check the ignition switch also. They fail regularly and when they do the wiring can melt together.
