Welcome to the club if you want to go cheap Autozone has some for about $12 each. Napa about $33 each. Autozone also sells an Accel Batt kit for relocation to the trunk for about $50. With this you can make your own. Hope this helped.

Thanks for the tip. I figured AZ or Napa might have something I could use. I've also know about people moving the battery to the trunk, something about in it's original location, there very poor ventilation or something?

You can buy new terminals they're inexpensive and you can crimp the new ones. When I had the SHo I did it for under $20. I then relocated the battery later with a summit kit.

I just removed both of the cables and brought them to the parts store. There I got new cables of the correct length for just under 20 bucks...I think for the price, its not worth putting on just terminals. The job takes maybe an hour tops

Cool, so is that $20 a piece or $20 total? Also, I know the + cable goes to the relay on the fender, and the - cable goes to the block...right?

less then 20 for both...(7 something and 9 something plus tax...)

They have quite an assorment. I found a negative with a 2nd smaller quage wire attached with a butt connector already on it about 6 inches away from the end. It was perfect. I got the same setup on the positive side so I can add an accessory later...

I've found more often than not that the crimp-on's are nothing but junk. The connections are poor to begin with, and after the smallest bit of corrosion sets up, the huge voltage drops will give you electrical nightmares. Battery cables are never something to cheap on, considering it's the one thing whose failure will **** *everything* in the car, all at once.

I agree the crimp-ons are junk. AZ does sell a good cheap alternative which is the one piece 2 gauge cables for about $12 a piece. Expensive doesn't mean best.
