Battery/Alternator

OK...I got my battery checked.The battery is not getting re charged at all. The alternator is at about 11.3V. The alternator is only about 3 months old. What shall I do. Think it is wiring or what?

The battery could have a shorted cell, which would pull the alternator output down. Also burn it out. But if the battery is ok, the alternator should put out over 14V in order to charge the battery. So put another battery in there and check the charging voltage.

PS....I went through 3 Kragen alts. in about 6 months before finding a good one.

If it had a shorted cell would that make it not re charge?
