Tonight after starting up my car the battery light came on and the A/C went out completely (the display doesn't even light up). Soon after that the ABS and air bag lights came on, but the air bag light eventually went off. I noticed that if the car is stopped the A/C display comes back on and the battery light goes off, but once I start moving again that changes back. Is this most likely an alternator problem? I'm going to check the fuses in the morning. I drove for 45 minutes without any problem, I had to get home. None of my lights dimmed and the stereo still works ok, although I shut it off as soon as all this started, but it did work even when the A/C wasn't.

Alternator/Battery/Ground problem.

It is one of the three. No doubt.

Check the alternator output, check the battery terminals. Make sure they are good and tight. Also make sure they are clean. If you terminals have a chia-pet growing on them, it will cause all sorts of issues.

Our cars are power hungry ( Just like the drivers ) and if they do not get the voltage needed, strange stuff will happen.
